

✤2 cups (260g) whole toasted cashews
✤2 cups (224g) whole toasted almonds
✤2 cups (224g) toasted pecan halves
✤2 cups (224g) toasted walnuts
✤1 cup (192g) sugar
✤11 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
✤2 tsp ginger
✤1 tsp salt
✤1 tsp cinnamon
✤1/2 tsp cloves
✤1/2 - 1 tsp cayenne pepper
❖How to toast: Spread nuts in a single layer in a shallow baking pan. Bake at 350°F (177°C) for 5-10 min or until light golden brown, stirring once or twice and watching carefully.
❖Place toasted nuts into a slow cooker.
❖In a small bowl, mix together the sugar, butter & seasonings, then add to slow cooker and stir with nuts well.
❖Cover and cook on low heat for 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
❖Spread in a single layer on greased foil and let cool at least 2 hours.
❖Store in a tightly covered container at room temperature up to 2 weeks.
