


✤1- 9 inch unbaked pastry shell
✤1/3 lb ham, diced
✤1/2 lb swiss cheese, shredded
✤3 tbsp (45g) flour
✤1/2 tsp salt
✤Dash of nutmeg
✤3 eggs, room temperature
✤1¾ cups 2% milk
✤1/2 cup (~70g) onion, finely chopped
✤100g broccoli florets
❖Steam the broccoli.
❖Slightly roll out pastry to fit a 9-in pie plate and place onto plate. Prick pastry and use pie weights in the shell. Bake pastry shell in 450°F (230°C) oven for 5-7 min or until lightly browned. Remove from oven, then reduce temp to 425°F (220°C).
❖Add ham, broccoli, onion & cheese to pie shell.
❖In a medium bowl, beat eggs slightly, then beat in the flour, salt, nutmeg & milk. Pour egg mixture into pie plate.
❖Bake uncovered 15 min at 425°F. Reduce oven temperature to 325°F (165°C) and cook another 35-40 min, until a knife inserted in center comes out almost clean.
❖Let stand 10 min before cutting.
