

✤1¾ cups (~62g) brioche bread, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
✤2/3 cup milk
✤2 tbsp (24g) sugar
✤1½ tbsp (9g) unsweetened cocoa powder
✤1/2 tsp vanilla extract
✤1 large egg, lightly beaten, room temperature
✤1 oz dark chocolate bar, coarsely chopped
✤ Powdered sugar, for optional garnish
❖Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C).
❖Arrange bread cubes in single layer on a baking sheet. Bake 5 min or until toasted. Remove from oven and turn temp down to 325°F (165°C).
❖In a medium bowl, whisk together the milk, sugar, cocoa, vanilla & egg. Add the bread, tossing gently to coat. Cover and chill for 30 min or up to 4 hours.
❖Divide bread mix evenly in half between 2- 6oz ramekins coated with cooking spray. Top each with the chocolate chunks, divided.
❖In a deep baking pan, add 1 inch hot water. Place ramekins in the pan and bake 35 min or until set.
❖Serve warm, topped with some powdered sugar as desired.
