✤2-3 lbs bone-in beef short ribs
✤1 tbsp coconut oil
✤1- 15 oz can tomato sauce
✤1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
✤5 whole dried dates
✤6 cloves garlic, smashed
For the spice blend:
✤2 tbsp coarse sea salt
✤1 tbsp dried sage
✤1 tbsp dried rosemary
✤1 tbsp paprika
✤1 tbsp garlic powder
✤1 tbsp onion powder
✤1 tsp black pepper
❖In a small bowl, mix together the spice blend. Pat dry the short ribs, then rub the spice blend into both sides.
❖In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat the coconut oil. Sear the short ribs for 2-3 minutes per side or until slightly browned.
❖Add the short ribs to a slow cooker with the tomato sauce, balsamic, dates & garlic. Cook for 4-6 hours on low, until beef is tender.
